Japanese Straight Perm Testimonials

I have always had wavy, frizzy unmanageable hair and would spend hours each morning blow-drying, styling and fussing over it. I often just wore my hair pulled back out of frustration because it was so difficult to make it look nice. 

I had my first Japanese Straight Perm done by Carole & Debi over 5 years ago and I LOVED it right away!! All of a sudden my hair was manageable and beautiful! It now only takes me 20-25 minutes to blow dry versus the 1 hour plus that it took before.  

I can even let my hair air dry and not spend any time on it at all and it will still look great. Humid weather is no longer my enemy since it doesn't affect my hair anymore. I have continued to go back to Carole & Debi year after year once the straightening grows out because I can't imagine ever going back to the way my hair used to be! It is definitely worth every penny!!

I just wanted to thank you both for the miraculous transformation that you gave to my hair! It's now been over 2 weeks and I still can't believe the difference that the Thermal Reconditioning has made. I used to spend endless amounts of time trying to combat frizz and tame my curly hair, and I usually gave up and just put my hair back, so that I wouldn't have to deal with it. Now, I spend 10-15 minutes blow drying my hair, without even using any hair products aside from shampoo/conditioner, and it looks perfect!! I have already received so many compliments, some from people that I hardly know. I am so glad that I decided to do this, absolutely no regrets at all!

I recently had my hair thermal reconditioned with Debi and Carole. It was my second time doing it and I know that as long as they are in business, I will be their life-long client. Since I had very short hair I would have to get it relaxed every 4 weeks, and cut short because my hair would not grow, because of breakage from the relaxing chemicals. I actually hear about this "new" treatment from you former hairstylist. He
was great and I went to him for years, however he did not know how to do thermal reconditioning, he also told me that that to do this treatment would be about $400. I did my research and I found Debi and Carole on the web along with another salon that offered the same service in San Diego. I called the other salon to set up a consultation, and they wanted to charge me $25, just to see them for 10 minutes. I contacted
Debi and their consultation was FREE! I found Debi and Carole very knowledgeable and very fair, since I have short hair, they only charged me $250.00 (including a haircut). And now I have only have to go back to them every 10 weeks, for now and eventually, as my hair grows it will be longer. I would recommend Debi and Carole to anyone, they are very professional and fun, while doing my hair, it's like hanging out with 2 good girlfriends! My hair is great and I am so happy!

WOW! I had my curly hair thermally reconditioned last September, it is now April and I am just going in for my touch up! This is too good to be true! I can’t stop telling people about this….I even referred the woman who cuts my hair to Carole and Debi, they are that good! I was so lucky to find their beautiful website as I was doing research on this technique, I had to drive over 70 miles each way, I live in Orange County, but it was worth every second! People who I have just met cannot believe my hair was ever curly, it is so easy to style and maintain, and I never have to buy frizz fighting products anymore! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Hi Carol and Debi. I just want to thank you both for the wonderful job you did on my hair. I can't believe how straight and silky smooth it feels!!! My hair has never looked so good. I was very nervous to wash it yesterday, thinking that when I got out of the shower it would be curly again. Thanks goodness, it wasn't.
I used the shampoo/conditioner that you recommended (Redken) and then a paddle brush to blow-dry it with. It took me only 8 minutes to dry my hair!!! I couldn't believe it! You two have really changed my life. I appreciate your knowledge, professionalism, and kindness. I will HIGHLY recommend you to everyone that I know!!

This past week I had my hair thermal reconditioned by Carol and Debi at the Town and Country Inn Salon and Day Spa in San Diego, CA. My hair is usually very curly and difficult to manage. For years, I have tried everything including relaxers, flat irons, and just blowing it out straight which would take about 40 minutes. Having this process done has changed my life. My hair has never felt or looked so good. I would highly recommend Carol and Debi for their expertise and knowledge on this process. They have devoted alot of time to learning all the ins and outs of thermal reconditioning.

Of course at first I was skeptical about making such a drastic change to my hair but after I met with Debbie and Carol I was so sure that this was for me. I have (well had) extremely curly hair and often went through the very time consuming process of straightening it myself. Now those of you with curly hair can relate to the blow drying, round brush, and extremely hot flat iron (which we all know is horrible for our hair). Now that I've had the treatment done my "get ready" time has been reduced from an hour to about 15 minutes. I mean I literally wash, towel dry, blow dry with a paddle brush and go. I am so pleased with the way my hair turned out, it really changed the texture it's so soft, manageable and looks healthy. Now that I went through the process and am so pleased I wanted to share my story with my fellow "curly sue's".
